Hill Country OB/GYN's Move
Why are you moving?

Hill Country OB/Gyn has outgrown its current location on the campus of Seton Southwest Hospital. We have been looking for available space in the area for several years. The current medical office building at SSW has also been at capacity for several years. In 2007, the new building at Brodie lane became available for purchase. Hill Country OB/Gyn completed this purchase in 2008 and started plans to finish the build out. The build out is now finished and ready for move in on March 6.

Why don't you move to the new offices at Seton Southwest?

There are several reasons. The main reason is timing. The new building has had several key delays in its completion. Its original finish date was Spring of 2007. Our space constraints were becoming critical and Hill Country OB/Gyn felt that the space constraints were a limitation on growth. Therefore we had to stop waiting on this building to be completed and find more space.

Why did you select the building on Brodie Lane?

At the time, there was no developed property available for purchase closer to the hospital.

Will you still deliver at Seton Southwest?

Yes.

If my doctor is at the office on Brodie and I go into labor, who will deliver me?

At this time, our plan is to commute between the Brodie office and Seton Southwest for deliveries. We hope to continue to deliver our own patients during the day, as you have come to expect. We will have a physician available on campus at Seton Southwest whenever anyone is in labor. In an emergency, if your doctor can not make it to the hospital in a timely manner, the backup physician will handle your care, until your primary physician can arrive.

Will you see any patients at the Seton Southwest office?

Yes. Each physician will have 1 day where they see patients at the Seton SW offices. If you prefer to see your physician at SSW, please let our schedulers know.

Where will you continue spa services?

The spa will be located at the new offices on Brodie Lane. We hope to offer more services to you in our specially equipped spa room.

Where exactly is the new office on Brodie? Are you in the same building as Dr. Evans the dermatologist?

The address is 9805 Brodie Lane. We are in the same area as Dr. Evans in a separate 1 story, free-standing building behind the Goodwill. We are just north of the intersection of Brodie and Slaughter in the Randall’s shopping center.

Will your phone number change?

No. All our phone numbers will remain the same including the new direct lines we have published to reach our triage assistants and the refill line. Our fax number will also remain the same.
